Short answer
Long-standing pain rarely has a single lever. Laser therapy is used as one input in a plan built around movement, load, and realistic goals.
The approach
Chronic pain is managed, not switched off
When pain has been present for months or years, the nervous system has usually adapted around it. Progress tends to look like better function and longer good stretches rather than an overnight change.
Laser therapy is applied to painful regions as part of that plan, alongside adjusting, soft tissue work, and activity guidance.
Expectations
Being honest about what to expect
Response varies. If a course of therapy is not producing change, that is discussed and the plan changes rather than continuing indefinitely.
Referral or co-management is arranged when your case calls for it.
