Conditions We Commonly Help Patients With

These pages are educational. They are meant to help you describe what you are experiencing, not to diagnose you or predict how you will respond to care.

Important

When to seek medical evaluation first

Some symptoms need prompt medical attention rather than a chiropractic appointment. These include loss of bladder or bowel control, progressive weakness or numbness in the legs, symptoms following significant trauma, unexplained weight loss with pain, fever with severe spinal pain, or the sudden onset of the worst headache of your life. If you are experiencing any of these, contact a physician or emergency services.

FAQ

Common Questions

Can chiropractic care cure my condition?

No responsible provider promises a cure. Care is aimed at supporting function and comfort, and Dr. Younker will tell you when a different kind of care is more appropriate.

What if I do not see my condition listed?

Call the office and describe what is going on. If it is outside the scope of chiropractic care, we will say so.

Do I need imaging before my appointment?

Not usually. X-rays are recommended when your health history and exam suggest they would help pinpoint the issue. Bring any recent imaging you already have.
