Spinal Decompression System at Peak Performance, Grand Junction
The decompression table applies a programmed traction cycle rather than a constant pull, the release phase matters as much as the stretch.
Short answer
The decompression table applies a programmed traction cycle rather than a constant pull, the release phase matters as much as the stretch.
How it works
A programmed cycle, not a constant pull
You are fitted with supports and the table applies gentle tension that builds, holds, and releases in a repeating pattern set for your case.
Angle and force are configured to target a specific spinal level rather than pulling the whole spine uniformly.
Comfort
What patients report
Most describe it as a slow stretch and many find it relaxing. There is a stop control within reach throughout the session.
If symptoms increase during a session, the settings are changed or the therapy is stopped.
